Wheels of Fury 2012 happened at Killarney racetrack. The public holiday brought the crowds in their droves and by the time I got there which was just after 11, many were looking for parking. I'd say that is one way in how to judge a successful event.It's not surprising how impressed I was by all the cars showcasing both on and off the track. The ones that were looking amazing off the track reminded me of the kinda guy you fancy from afar. He is shy and drawn to himself but just doesn't know he gets you hot under the collar (or in this case - under the hood).
The entire day was just revving hot and I can safely say that all people who attended, were not disappointed.
My favourite event of the day was definitely by the Cape Town Spinners who aim to please their crowd over and beyond what they were expecting. I was however, a little unmoved about the drifting event but this could possibly be that the guys were not used to the track (??).
Anyway, a good day in all and I leave you with a few of my favourite pictures of the day (shot by yours truly). You'll notice that I went a bit crazy with the camera but when you spot talent, you gotsta do what you gotsta do :)
